Honeoye, NY – On Sunday, June 5, Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County, along with future homeowner Ashley Huls, were joined by volunteers, family, and community members for a dedication ceremony. The celebration marks the completion of Habitat’s latest home on Briggs Street in Honeoye. The house will be the future residence for Ashley and her son Gavin.

Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County was selected by the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of the 2016 Business Award in Retail. The annual award recognizes local business for their outstanding service and dedication to the community. The Habitat ReStore opened it’s doors in 2010, and since that time has helped support the building and rehabilitation of seven homes in the county. The store take in donated goods from the local community and resells them to raise funds to build homes community and hope here in Ontario County.
